Short Course on Precision Coating and Drying (Online) - Fall 2024
This course provides coating engineers, scientists and researchers with an understanding of the principles of premetered coating processes and solidification phenomena that are central to developing high performance, precision coatings used in a variety of industries. This online course includes selected content from the longer Coating Process Fundamentals Short Course, which is held annually on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The course draws on decades of research in the Coating Process Fundamentals Program.
The course is integrated with the University of Minnesota’s Canvas learning management system and covers content detailed in the course outline. In the next offering – Fall 2024 – we will offer the course in an accessible and convenient format. Videos for all the sections of the course are prerecorded and available for viewing on the Canvas site so that course participants can go through the course at their own pace and on their own schedules. The videos are closed captioned for convenience. Course notes will be available for download from the site. Course participants can ask questions during Zoom office hours that will be set up during the course, or they send questions to the instructors by email.
The on-demand material for the course will be open from October 7 - November 4, 2024
The course registration is open! For more information go to the Registration tab.
The next longer in-person course will be held in May 2025.
